Mordiford Circular Walk

This is an undulating walk and we start the walk on a gradual incline up the road and into woods towards Broomy Green. We make our way down to Checkley and then follow the Pentaloe Brook through Bears Wood towards Mordiford. We then have a short steep climb up Marian’s Hill which then turns into a gradual incline and levels out at the top where we return to the car park. There is a lot of shade through woods if it is a hot day. Depending on the weather there is the opportunity to have a picnic lunch at the end of the walk. There are picnic tables with a great view but no shade! We can discuss this option nearer the date of the walk. Please bring mid morning refreshment and lunch if appropriate. Booking essential
