Daphne will a circular walk from The Fox PH at Aspenden outside Buntingford. The walk is going to be approx. 6.5 miles long and is designed to take in the formerly "lost" path Cottered Spur, now officially Byway Cottered 47. This path was one that Mark Westley, who passed away in February, was very involved in with re-establishing the path and clearing it (with Daphne) on several occasions.
Please note the slightly later than usual start time of 10.15 a.m.
The Fox has just been taken over by a new couple who plan to offer food by the time of the walk. The menu will be posted here nearer the time to allow Ramblers wishing to stay for a pub lunch to send their lunch pre-order to the walk leader by Sunday, 20th July.

The Fox PH, The Street, Aspenden SG9 9PD. (This is accessed by Aspenden Road, a turning off Station Road, Buntingford or via Westmill Village.) As the pub car park is very small, non-diners are requested to park on the road by the village green nearby.
