This morning’s 7 mile walk starting from the Rose and Crown in Hartwell heads through the village to the edge of Salcey Forest, where we head north east through the forest. At the edge of the forest we turn north towards Piddington crossing over the former Stratford upon Avon and Midland Junction Railway line, shortly after turning west to Quinton Green and the wind turbines beyond. Then turning in a southerly direction we head back to Hartwell.
Car parking available behind the Rose and Crown in Hartwell.
Pub should be open for us from 9.15 to pre order lunch and use the facilities if required.
The walk is on a mixture of good surfaced paths, open fields and field edges. Some surfaces are uneven with the dried mud at this time.
No Stiles.
Assistance dogs only please.
