Overview

Continuing along the St James' Way (68.5 mile long Camino Ingles walk from Reading to Southampton). Catch No 2 bus to Mortimer from Blagrave St stop EP at 10.10am (I will be joining bus on Burghfield Rd). We will start the walk from Mortimer bus stop. Lovely walk taking in Roman remains and visiting St Mary's church Silchester. Return train from Bramley to Reading (1/2 hourly service). Good bakery/cafe next to station for those wishing to get lunch at the end of the walk or bring a packed lunch.
