Overview

On this walk of about four miles we will follow the route of the now hidden Neckinger River through a very historic part of London. We will pass the once notorious site of Jacob's Island, portrayed as the den of Bill Sikes inOliver Twist, before discovering the end of the river at St Saviour's Dock. There will be a lunch stop at a suitable point. This walk is all on pavements and should finish by about 15.00.

!!! This walk is limited to 30 people who must book in advance with the leader.

Leader: Andy Strouthous (andy.strouthous@blueyonder.co.uk, 07948 379692).
