Overview

This walk includes downland scenery, a stroll along the pretty River Alre and a visit to the Georgian town of New Arlesford.  The hills are small, the paths are good and there are no stiles.  Bring a packed lunch and your camera.  Parking at the start point is limited so please car share wherever possible.  Please advise the walk leader if you intend coming on this walk.

There is on road parking on 'The Green' near the Village Hall, which is off the B3046 Basingstoke road in Old Alresford. Parking is limited so please car share wherever possible.
