We are the Telford & East Shropshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From Ironbridge we head up the Ironbridge Way to Woodside and Dawley Castle Pools for break. From here we follow paths & tracks across Lightmoor to Stoney Lane and down Vane Coppice to Coalbrookdale for lunch at the Museum of Iron (seating, loos). We than follow the T50 for a while, then along the ridge to the site of the Rotunda before descending the steps and paths back to the Wharfage and the Ironbridge.
This is graded as a MODERATE walk - there is a steepish climb out of Ironbridge at the start and some of the paths may be muddy.
Please bring suitable footwear, warm and waterproof clothing, a snack, lunch and a hot drink.
Meet near the tollhouse on the station Road car park, Ironbridge.
