Overview

From Newlands Farm (near Gifford) towards Quarryford and through farmland via Brookside ruin to East Hopes, West Hopes and Hopes Reservoir.  Cross the dam and return along a hillside path to a short crossing of Hope Water (on stepping stones) and retrace route from West Hopes.  Good paths, farm tracks and quiet road.  OS66/67.  MEET NB 9.15, Hadd 9.30 for a 10.00 start at Newland Farmhouse.  Contribution towards petrol £2.  Please contact the leader to book your place.  Numbers limited because of parking.
