We are the Stamford Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

The walk takes us towards old Hunstanton, past and across the golf course. We walk onto the dunes on the seaward side of the golf course heading towards Holme Beach where we will have a coffee break. We then walk between the sea on our left and the sand dunes on our right to reach the Norfolk Ornithological Trust’s site at Pinewood’s where we will have lunch. The trust has an information centre, cafe and toilets. After lunch, we follow the footpath back towards Holme-Next-The-Sea and Beach Road where we pick up the footpath alongside the river Hun, returning to old Hunstanton and ultimately the Cliff car park.
Dogs on leads are welcome.
The only hazards are roots and soft sand.
Bring a packed lunch and drinks.
