Overview

We leave the village of North Newbald, ascending up Dot Hill, and continue along to a pleasant valley before  joining the Wolds Way.    We pass the old Trig Point en route, where we may stop for a short coffee break.  This Trig point has been carefully restored, and is maintained by the Windmill Walkers.  We continue on the Wolds Way, along Swin Dale, before joining the road near High Hunsley crossroads.   A  section of quiet road walking follows, with wide grass verges, and on a clear day good views of this attractive part of the Wolds.  A short section on fields paths takes us back to North Newbald.
