We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Please meet at North Warnborough Village Hall where we have kind permission to park and from where we head to the lift bridge on the Basingstoke Canal. We then follow field paths and tracks to Five Lanes End via Deptford Bridge, Greywell Church, and the board walk through Greywell Moors. We then drop down to Upton Grey and again take various field paths and tracks to reach our anticipated lunch stop at Mapledurwell Church. We return to the cars via Dark Wood, Greywell Hill Park, and the remains of the newly reopened remains of Odiham Castle, which now sports four interesting information boards. The route is mainly on good paths and tracks although there are five stiles some of which are in poor condition.
Please bring sufficient food and drink for the day.
