Ever wondered how you would walk from Northolt to Northwood? Wonder no more as you wander with us along this corridor through North West London including nature reserves, woods, rivers, golf courses and open spaces.
The route is appx. 10 miles long and mainly flat until towards the end when there is a steady climb through Ruislip Woods towards Northwood. Please note that, following recent rainfall, the ground is muddy, slippery and wet in places.
The start outside Northolt Central Line station can be accessed by public transport being served not only by the Central line but also numerous bus routes including the limited stop SL9 running between Harrow and Heathrow. The finish is at Northwood Metropolitan Line station from where buses are also available.
If you are intending to join the walk, please email the leader in advance with your name, and, if you wish: your contact telephone number and the name and telephone number of someone who can be contacted, if needed, in the event of an emergency. The contact link for this is in the Contact Details box opposite.
Please bring a picnic lunch.
