We are the Wetherby Walking Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The landscape has been occupied for over 6,000 years. We will pass remains from Roman times and Norman era, finally a look at the Thornborough Henges. The walk is easy: 62 metres elevation, length 7.9 miles but there are a few stiles in various states of disrepair.

B6267 Tarmac quarry visitor centre car park. Drive in through the gate then turn sharp left into the car park. The car park is opened at 10:00 am on Sundays, so if you arrive before that, you'll have to hang around at Nosterfield and wait.
