Walk Length: 12.5 miles / 20km
Walk difficulty: Moderate
Walk Leader: Beth (07956242703)
After sadly having to cancel this walk in February due to flooding, we're putting this back on so those who want to walk the whole of Shakespeare's Way can fill in the bit we missed!
Apologies its so much later, diary issues on Beth's part.

This 12.5 mile day will cover stunning Cotswold countryside from Shipston-on-Stour to Chipping Norton, a quaint town on the edge of the Cotswolds. This is a slightly hillier route compared to the previous leg and covers open fields, river crossings, stunning little villages and a small amount of woodland.
We'll be meeting in at 10:30 at New Street Car Park, Chipping Norton OX7 5EL (note new start point due to reduced bus service!!!), and then we'll organise ourselves into as few cars as possible and drive to the actual walk start point at Bridge Car Park in Shipston-on-Stour where the walk will start. You can also get the train to Stratford-Upon-Avon in order to then get the number 50 bus to Shipston if public transport is preferred. If time allows we'll stop partway at Long Compton for a pub stop, before continuing onto Chipping Norton.
If you can't change your plans to get to Chipping Norton in time due to the last minute change of plans, don't worry, just meet us in Shipston at 11 and Beth will make sure you get back to Shipston but might need a few trips.
If possible please sign up on our Meetup linked below, where you can find out more information, ask questions and see who else is coming. Its helpful for us to get a better idea of numbers, too.
The route is 12.5 miles with small sections along the road and some ascent (around 500 metres) so this is a moderate walk.
