The Nottingham & Derby Ramblers offer everything from local evening strolls to challenging days in the Peak District. Ages 20s-40s are especially welcome.
We venture over to Staffordshire for the lesser walked area around Oakamoor with a nice easy going walk suitable for people new to hiking or more time pressured. Starting from the Mill Lane car park we'll head through Oakamoor, Woodside Lodge, top of Dimmingsdale, down the whole of Dimmingsdale to the Ramblers Retreat cafe. After an optional stop we'll continue through Farley to Longshaw before arriving back at the car park in Oakamoor.
Parking is free in the Mill Road car park. Please be careful where you meet as there are two car parks close together. We'll check both before departing.
