Overview

This walk takes us on some familiar paths, starting from ODD DOWN Park & Ride site we then walk to South Stoke village with fine views on the way and down into Upper Midford to join the footpath alongside the old disused Somerset Canal route. Continuing on the walk following the Cam Brook and heading upwards towards Middle Twinhoe where again there are great views. Returning down the hillside to the village of Combe Hay which has many links with the history of the Somerset Coal canal. Passing out through the village and heading back up hill towards the Odd Down P&R our original starting point.
