Despite the title this is a flat walk through lovely open countryside with great views of the nearby Malvern Hills. The walk starts from the ‘Old Hills’ common at Callow End and goes through the village of Madresfield before touching the outskirts of Malvern. It heads towards the River Severn before wending back into Callow End. If the wet weather continues there will be sections which are muddy so poles are recommended. There are no refreshments en-route but there is an option of a drink in the ‘Old Bush’ in Callow End after the walk.
For car sharing please meet at Crabbs Cross car park, B97 5JP, for an 08.45 departure. suggested fuel contribution - £3.
The walk starts at 09.30 from the Upper Old Hills Car Park. Please note that the postcode will take you to the Lower car park which is very small. to get to the Upper Car Park please continue (with the lower car park on your right) a short distance further along the B4424 and the car park is the next right.
