The Osmotherly Village Loop starts at 10:15. Sometimes parking is difficult in Osmotherly but after you get parked make your way to the Monument in the centre of the village. The walk takes you along the tracks and fields past Oakdale Beck.Then onto Thimbleby on the edge of the North Yorks Moors before heading back to Osmotherly. The walk is mainly on tracks and lanes. It might be muddy as it is taking place in November so wear stout shoes. There are pubs in Osmotherly village. There is 700 foot of climb.
If you intend to go straight to the start of the walk, please inform the walk leader prior to the walk.
Not suitable for dogs.
Vane Terrace, Darlington
If you want to share cars then please go to meeting point at Vane Terrace in Darlington at 9: 30 as limited car parking in Osmotherley. Alternatively make your way to the start point of the walk for 10:15 at the Monument in Osmotherley. If you are going straight there then please let the walk leader know.
