The third in a series of six walks. Each begins at a station that is generally served only by one of London Overground’s six recently-renamed lines and heads for the edge of the city beyond. This time, the route heads for Parliament Hill to look back at central London, before crossing the heath and joining the slim strand of woodland and parkland that wraps around the Dollis Brook. Despite only spanning zones 2 to 4, it eventually reaches a stretch where open fields stand firm against the advancing jaws of Metroland.
Please bring packed lunch, pub stop at end of walk.
