Overview

From the Pack Horse to Cane End, skirting Sonning Common and returning via Crowsley Park and Chalk House Green. Apart from the section near Sonning Common, the route is mostly on tracks so expect there to be mud under foot. Wear appropriate clothes for winter. We have permission from the publican to park in the Pack Horse car park. You can catch the X40 bus from Reading which stops at the pub. My wife and I plan to eat in the Pack Horse after the walk. If you want to do the same, please arrange this independently, but you might like to mention you are with LVR. If you just want to pop in after the walk and warm yourself in front of their fire, thats OK. If you dont fancy either of these options, thats OK too.
