We are the Berkshire Weekend Walkers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Our walk explores a route that ascends through Lower Bowden and Pangbourne College before descending to Tidmarsh and following the River Pang back to Pangbourne, with 262 feet of ascent in total. The Berkshire Walkers are providing a slightly flatter walk as an alternative.
For this walk, please meet in the Pay-and-Display car park on Station Road (by the Village Hall) for a 10am start. The walk will finish around midday, in time for the Berkshire Area AGM activities at the village hall. By train from Reading, take the 09:23 Didcot Parkway service, which stops at Pangbourne at 09:31. Parking at the Pay-and-Display car park costs £2 for 3 hours, or £6 for the day.
