Overview

An 8.5 mile circular walk starting at Sunningdale Train Station. We will walk briefly along the A30 to Ridge Mount Road where we will then walk to Sunningdale Golf Course. We will walk across the golf fairways and through woodlands - care will need to be taken with possible golf balls on this section of the walk. We will cross over Chertsey Road and approach Brick Hill and then cross over the M3 via the footbridge and walk towards Windsor Road. We will cross over Windsor Road and enter Chobham Common following the footpaths towards Staple Hill Road where we will cross to enter Clearmount. We will then follow the footpaths through Jubilee Mount and the tracks to the pond (possible lunch stop) and then continue across Chobham Common (with beautiful yellow gorse in flower) towards Staple Hill Car Park where we will cross the road and then walk across the common towards the M3 and walk through the tunnel under the M3. We will follow the footpaths across Chobham Common and cross Chertsey Road and enter another section of Chobham Common viewing the monument as we walk towards Sunningdale. We will enter Sunningdale via Chobham Road and then follow London Road back to Sunningdale Train Station.
