Meet in Broadway car park in Farnham Common in time for a 10am start. At the time of writing, parking costs £2.10 for up to 24 hours, and can be paid in cash or through the RingGo app. Alternatively, some parking is available on nearby roads, or you can park in Beaconsfield and get the bus to the start. If arriving by public transport, you can take the X74 First Bus from Slough bus station or High Wycombe; or the 103 Carousel bus from Windsor, Slough (Wellington Street), Beaconsfield or High Wycombe. The nearest stop to the meeting point is Templewood Lane.

For those wishing to visit the model village afterwards, it is recommended to allow 2-3 hours, plus extra time for the tearoom (about halfway round). Tickets currently cost £14 per adult if purchased on the gate. The 103 bus leaves Maxwell Road (about 10 minutes' walk from Bekonscot) every 30 minutes, and takes 13 minutes to reach Farnham Common, or 35 minutes to Slough.
