Overview

Our traditional Boxing Day walk along Wood Lane and through Fairy Glen to Appley Bridge returning along the surfaced towpath of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.  There is a steady ascent of 230ft from Wood Lane to the top of Parbold Hill .
