Overview

Sadly, following Storm Goretti, many of our woodlands have been decimated and this was very apparent when we recced the beautiful woods surrounding Lamorna. As a result this walk has been amended but even so some paths are a bit more challenging than normal but hopefully still showing off this beautiful area. We will all meet on Cliff Road at Roskilly between Newlyn and Mousehole, taking an initial steep climb to Paul. From there we continue to Sheffield, circling the quarry, across Clodgy Moor to finally come out at the top of Lamorna Valley. Walking via Castallack we reach Lamorna. Across fields with far reaching views we return to Mousehold and finish with an easy walk along the coast path to our cars.
