We are the West Kent Walking Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is an anticlockwise walk from Penshurst including some fine views and a few less familiar paths. The walk is moderate but there are a few short climbs in the first half, along with a few stiles and some slippery sections. The walk ends at the start point, however if the weather is reasonable and anyone wishes to, we can add a 2.4 mile loop around Penshurst place. The Leicester Arms is ideal for post walk drinks/lunch or alternatively the Porcupine Pantry cafe at Penshurst Place (if open).
Meet outside The Leicester Arms in the centre of Penshurst. Park along Fordcombe Road (B2188). Alternatively if Penshurst Place is open there is a huge free car park. The entrance is about 50 yards from the meeting point and the car park is 5 minutes walk.
