A figure of eight walk in a scenic area where, if you choose, you could join us at the car park around 12:30 p.m. for the 3.5 mile second half (Let me know if you intend to meet us for the second half of the walk).
The first section of this walk is about 2.5 miles and will circle around the edge of the Golf course. We’ll follow sandy paths past the landmark water tower to see views of Three Cliffs Bay and the Castle.
We’ll continue to follow the edge of the golf course which will return us to the start point. Given the ongoing forecast of showers, we can have lunch in our cars before setting off on the optional 3.5 mile second part of the walk.
Stiles: No Stiles on morning section.
Toilets: Pennard Cliff Top Car Park.
Terrain: Sandy, muddy, gentle ascents. Walking poles recommended.
