The walk leader has decided to cancel this walk due to the weather, heavy rain showers and squally winds. Walking the Skyline in these conditions would not be enjoyable. The walk cannot be moved to Sunday due to the forecasted high winds. Apologies to those who had planned to come along.
We are the Linlithgow Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a slow A walk around the Pentland Skyline. We will walk up and over each of the 14 hills that make up the skyline; Caerketton Hill, Allermuir Hill, Capelaw Hill, Harbour Hill, Bell's Hill, Black Hill, Hare Hill, West Kip, East Kip, South Black Hill, Scald Law, Carnethy Hill, Turnhouse Hill & finally Castlelaw Hill. We will take our time; a nice & easy steady pace. I will bring plenty of homemade chocolate tray bake, flapjack and tablet. Everyone more than welcome to join in the fun! Your company, sense of humour and chatter will keep us all going. The skyline will be easy-peasy! In the event of a poor forecast, this walk may be rescheduled to Sunday 16th July.
