We are the Cornwall South & West Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A beautiful, varied walk commencing at Pendeen Church. Firstly heading to the coast at Portheras Cove, this interesting stretch of coastline takes us through the mine workings of Levant and Botallack before heading back inland at Kenidjack Castle. As we walk back over Carnyorth Common and Trewellard Common there is an opportunity to take in far reaching views over the stunning countryside we have walked.
This stretch of coastline is fairly easy going with no big climbs but as always it is undulating. Good footwear needed and the ground is still very wet in places. Don’t forget drink and lunch.
