Overview

A pleasant and generally level walk from Piercebridge, initially heading north across fields towards the village of Summerhouse. Turning south-west, we continue towards the farm at Dyance and connect with a lane for 0.6 miles before turning south down a track to the outskirts of Gainford. We visit the village green before heading east, following a lovely stretch of the River Tees back to Piercebridge.
