Overview

From the Viaduct start we walk up the West Bank of the Erme, then follow a small lane to Harford church for coffee. We continue on through Harford CP and onto the open moor before descending down to and through Piles Copse. We take the very steep climb up to Sharp Tor for lunch. Afterwards we follow part of the Two Moors Way and then Butterdon Hill and Western Beacon before returning to the start. Expect mud if it has been wet, hills, and one very steep climb just before lunch. If visibility allows then there are lovely views to be had.
