Overview

One of my regular favourite half day walks following the Pilgrim's Way westwards at the base of Ranmore. Given that we start from the top, that means an initial gentle descent, and later one short steep ascent, at Pickett's Hole, taken at your own pace, with coffee stop at the top and time to admire the magnificent views. Our circuit continues on lesser used paths around Ranmore Common, passing Lonesome Cottage and Tanner's Hatch.
