This walk is a pleasant ramble through the Worcestershire countryside. We walked it last year but are going in the opposite direction this time.
This route takes you through a quiet rural area with low hills. At this time of year we will walk through meadows scattered with wild flowers at Foster's Green. From the higher points there are panoramic views of the Clent and Lickey Hills in the distance.
The going is fairly flat and we will go at a pace to suit us all, taking the weather into account. There are only a couple of stiles. It is mainly fields and tracks although there is some road walking along quiet country roads. We do start with a section along the Hanbury Road but it will only take about 5 minutes.
No toilets at the start or en route.
After the walk we can drive a short distance (2 minutes) to the Navigation Inn, 57 Hanbury Road, Stoke Prior, B60 4LB for a pub lunch.
