A 9 mile linear walk starting from Abbeycwmhir, using Glyndwr's Way to walk back to outskirts of Llanbadarn Fynndd. Abbeycwmhir is a peaceful village, home to the ruins of a Cistercian Abbey (founded in 1143) and said to the burial place of the headless body of Llewellyn ( the last native Prince of Wales). From there we use the undulating Glyndwr's Way, views are fabulous ( weather permitting).
One long, steep climb to be taken at your own pace.
Car parking is on a large layby from where a minibus will collect us at 09.20, then dropping us off at Abbeycwmhir.
