We are the Stockport Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We will head south along the Road to Errwood Hall and then back North through the forrest ending up at Madscar Farm. We will then drop down and cross the stream to Fernilee and then head South on the dismantled Railway line to the Dam and back to the start.
The route is mostly on good paths and Forrest tracks. The path down to Fernilee can be slippery. There are cows in the fields at Fernilee. Most of the ascent and descent is in the first half of the walk.
No dogs due to livestock in the fields.
