Overview

The walk starts with a section of road to pick up the path to Werneth Low. After visiting the War Memorial, we go down the path to Lowend farm. An excellent section of the walk follows through Great Wood. Taking the path to Hillend and on to Mottram Hill we soon arrive at Pingot Lane, following this we come out in Broadbottom. The Cown Edge way is followed to Chew and back to Etherow Country Park.
