Overview

We will gently ascend from Lowdham village hall car park to Ploughman Wood with long views toward the Vale of Belvoir.

After a  coffee break, we will visit the rural village of  Woodborough, and then onward to Epperstone.

From Epperstone there is a steep climb with more excellent views before we return to Lowdham for a Ploughman's rest.

When recce'd the field paths were very muddy so do keep an eye on the weather and come prepared!

Please register for this walk on Newark Ramblers website, where you will also find details of our car share scheme.
