Overview

Walk starts in Pontypool Park and ascends past a grotto and folly to reach Mynydd Garn Wen for morning break. We then cross hill over Mynydd Garn Clochdy before descending to Goose & Cuckoo pub for lunch break. Afternoon is through quiet lanes, fields and woods.
