Overview

On the 22nd of July both the Shell Grotto and Folly Tower will be open to visitors, something that only happens a few times a year. So I'm putting this walk on again.
Starting from Pontypool Leisure Centre we have a short, steep initial climb to the Shell Grotto. From there we follow a track to the Tower and on to Mynydd Garnwen where we climb to the trig before making a circuit and rejoining our path back to the start.
