Overview

Starting at the bottom of Portland Bill in Fortuneswell, we ascend the tramway to the top, walk around The Verne to Portland Heights and coffee stop. We then circumnavigate Portland anticlockwise, taking in the lighthouse, Church Ope Cove, Jailhouse Diner, coffee and cake, High angle battery. Finally returning down through Fortuneswell to the car park. The walk will feature steep hills and rough ground. Poles are a must, and a head for heights. Bring lunch.
