Description: A flat, easy walk of just over an hour, starting from the Civic Centre.
If you prefer a short stroll rather than a longer walk, come and support Chris and Ruth on a level walk by the sea.
We will walk eastwards along the promenade with views of Swansea Bay.
When we cross the barrage over the River Tawe, there is a good chance we will see Cormorants drying their wings as they sit on and around the edge of the barrage.
The walk continues alongside the Prince of Wales Dock, passing the historic Norwegian Church.
Our return to Civic Centre will cross the sail bridge and pass by the National Waterfront Museum with its floating exhibits.
Social after walk:
Afterwards, we will go for refreshments to Coastline Café in the Civic Centre.
Directions: Civic Centre is located the seaward side of Oystermouth Road opposite Swansea Prison. There is a bus stop at the centre.
Parking: Free for two hours N.B. obtain ticket on arrival.
