A circular walk with woodland, urban and coastal areas to enjoy. From Quarry Lane we will walk through some of Errington woods before exiting to New Marske and continuing to carefully cross the A174. We take footpaths towards Black's Bridge and continue parallel to the railway line before walking through a housing estate to a pedestrian tunnel under the railway. Paths then lead us to Lily Park and across the road for a short break facing the sea. From the path we walk along the stray with sea views and then on to a woodland track by Long Beck. This takes us to another housing estate then past allotments, under a railway bridge and back to Quarry Lane.
The first part of the walk is longer to allow a suitable place for a break.
There are several roads to cross and we shall use designated crossing places where these are available.
We pass close to public toilets in the second half of the walk and time will be allowed for another brief stop.
