Overview

Starting from Stony Rock the route circuits through Great Copse to stay above the North Downs with, weather permitting, excellent views to the South across the former RG&RR (Reading, Guildford and Reigate Railway) and also towards a Paddington. The route then descends the North Downs to cross the railway line and take in Abinger Roughs and Deerleap Wood. A cross contour ascent back up the North Downs then leads directly back to Stony Rock
