Overview

On open moorland below Fan Foel, we seek the memorial at the crash site of the Lancaster bomber that came down here in September 1943. Here, a fitting setting for our Remembrance Day observance at 11 o'clock.

Some good forestry tracks and then patchy trails and rough ground across open moorland, boggy in places. Strongly recommend boots, gaiters and walking poles.
