Overview

Postponed from 2020 due to Covid-19 and to celebrate the reaffirmation of Richmond's twinning with Fontainebleau and Konstanz, a weekend of events including this choice of a short (4 miles) or longer walk (8 miles) led by Gwyneth H and assisted by Richmond Ramblers members. Both walks start together. The walks divide at Pembroke Lodge, where the longer walk continues to Isabella Plantation before returning to Richmond. An opportunity not to be missed - the next Twinning Event will not be until 2040! The longer Walk, proceeds from Richmond Station to Pembroke Lodge, via Petersham and Ham Gates. The walk then continues through the park to the Isabella Plantation, for a picnic lunch, before returning to Richmond Station via Richmond Hill. Finish circa: 4pm.
