We are the Newark Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Starting from the village of Thoroton, the walk will include Oscar Bridge, the River Smite, Shelton, Flawborough and Orston, with coffee and picnic lunch stops. Dogs are permitted if kept under close control. Walkers (particularly those who like to wear shorts) should be aware that some of the paths may be somewhat overgrown by the end of July.

Meet at the bus shelter (near the house with the dovecote) on Cliffhill Lane, Thoroton. Use roadside parking, but please avoid parking on grass verges.
