We are the East Staffordshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in the East Staffordshire area to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A great walk through interesting and historic countryside with plenty of ups and downs and great views.
Starting from the picturesque village of Youlgreave we walk through part of beautiful Bradford Dale and follow the Limestone Way to spectacular Robin Hood's Stride and Cratcliffe Tor with it's ancient Hermit's cave. We continue through the village of Birchover onto Stanton Moor where we will visit the Cork Stone and the Nine Ladies Bronze Age stone circle before returning via the villages of Stanton in the Peak and Alport.
Meet at 'Boys and Girls' car park Coldwell End (not marked on OS map). Toilets at car park are named 'Boys and Girls'. Suggest donation for parking.
