We shall then carry on to Kit Coty, one of the most impressive Neolithic megalithic sites in the country which predates Stonehenge. Lunch in the village of Detling.

After lunch we will be following the old Pilgrims Way, up a chalk ridge which will take you to the White Horse country park and the ruins of Thurnham castle, before heading into ancient woodland with wonderful panoramic views. We will then carry on along the North Downs Way towards Lenham, where we end at the Red Lion for a drink. Bring a packed lunch.
