From our village hall start point, we venture to the South West along St Swithun's Way, picking up Parkside Lane on its Easterly journey. Skirting the fringes of West Tisted we gain some lovely views of the Ropley area before returning via Long's Wood, Webb Lane and Church Lane to our starting point.
A total ascent of around 400 feet, so not many hills, and not many stiles either - too few to remember! Some modest quiet road walking in several patches, and a couple of middle-busy roads to cross, but nothing to raise the pulse!
I changed this route from the originally published route because it's much nicer.
We're a bit short of pubs in Ropley, so we'll likely adjourn to the Fox in Bramdean as we have in the past (to be confirmed).
