We are the Scarborough and District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Join us on a walk in beautiful Rosedale taking in the lovely scenery as well as its industrial heritage. The walk starts on the disused railway track, and we proceed over to Hill Cottages in East Rosedale, then up to Bottoms Farm, then down to Rosedale Abbey. After which we head back up to the disused railway line for the return back to the car park. Some steep slopes but majority easy walking. For experienced walkers.

The walk takes in exposed moorland, please ensure you wear appropriate outdoor winter clothing / boots and waterproofs. Walking sticks are always useful. Please bring a packed lunch.
Park and meet at the car park just off the Blakey Road between Hutton le Hole and Castleton opposite the turn off to Church houses.
